Pidžin and Krashkid were the first two Stencibility artists in residency. They spent 2 weeks in Tartu in June 2025, resulting in several painted walls and a lot of new friends.

Krashkid's print is inspired by a mural on Roosi Street in Tartu.

Arriving in Tartu the artist first noticed the blooming lilac bushes, and they became one of the symbols of Tartu for him. After conversations with the local residents other elements were added - the neighbor peeking over the fence and the dog who was running around in the same yard. The artist has hidden other elements characteristic of him in the lilac bushes as well. For example, a basketball is a recurring motif in his every work.

Pidžin's work is made on the former Thalia video cinema building, located on the corner of Aleksandri and Aida streets in Karlova, Tartu.

The street art work was in turn created as a silkscreen graphic based on a photograph, which shows the building itself with its historical sign (which is still on the building) as well as the goddess attached to the wall, flying cassettes and the artist's author symbol, a dove.

The infamous cinema, which operated in the 90s and was the first place in Tartu where you could rent VHS tapes and watch them on the spot, has now been unused for decades. Lithuanian street artist Pidžin decided to add life and color to the dilapidated house, who found inspiration not only from the building's colorful history but also from the origin of the name "Thalia" - according to ancient Greek mythology, Thaleia is the daughter of Zeus, the protector of the muse and comedy.

KRASHKID is a Hamburg-based artist whose work ranges from small silkscreens to large murals. His colorful, graphic and figurative works are not limited by format or dimensions and often originate from the surrounding environment – be it travel impressions or everyday moments in the studio. The scenes depicted reflect everyday sources of inspiration as well as broader social themes. Krashkid is a member of the art collective Guapo Sapo.

PIDŽIN is one of Lithuania's most recognized street artists. His work is characterized by sarcasm, irony, robust lines and bright colors. His characteristic cartoon-like style combines animation, street art and plywood cutouts. Pidžin considers himself an urban character – a city bird who leaves behind visual traces. Pidžin's goal is to bring art from its usual spaces to the street, so that it is closer to people.

He operates in Klaipėda, Lithuania in Artojas Street Art Park, of which he is the founder and curator.
